“Mary Poppins”

What would you do if you had a magical nanny? In the Walt Disney production by Robert Stevenson, based off of P.L Travers book. In his book “Mary Poppins” is a magical nanny, which finds a letter from two little kids asking for a perfect nanny.
Where ever Mary Poppins goes, everything is perfect, so it’s almost like she created everything. There are also lots of mild conflicts like; when the old nanny lost the kids a cop had found them in the park with their kite stuck in the tree. There’s also a new beginning for the kids and the family, when Mary Poppins leaves.
Mary Poppins songs are symbols of fun and happiness throughout the movie. The chalk drawings on the sidewalk can be symbols of the dream world. The kite stands for family because they become one at the end. And the Bird Women stands for the poverty in London.
London’s Bird Women is a minor character; she is a poor citizen that feeds the birds. Mary Poppins is a main character; she’s a nanny with magical powers that help her babysit little kids like Michael and Jane. Michael and Jane are brother and sister that love to goof around, which leads them getting into trouble. Their parents are always busy which leads them into not playing with their children. Their mom is trying to fight for women rights to vote, and their dad works at a bank.
This is just some of the things that Mary Poppins has to deal with while she works as a nanny. What would you do if you where a nanny that had magical powers?
